How to query Oracle DB 11g for user account status

select USERNAME,ACCOUNT_STATUS from dba_users where USERNAME=’PUT_YOUR_USER_NAME_HERE’;

Sample output:

USERNAME                                    ACCOUNT_STATUS
——————————           ——————————–
SADMIN                                           OPEN
